Shoppers can expect to see discounts continuing through fall

Even though they’ve learned to better match the amount of inventory they carry to demand, retailers know they have to discount if they want to spur spending, says KSA’s Madison Riley. “Everyone’s hunting for a great deal, and they are buying fewer items,” Riley says. “Retailers will continue to be very promotional.”
