Craig Acosta

Mr. Acosta brings to Kurt Salmon Associates a unique knowledge base formed through work with health care payors and providers prior to joining Kurt Salmon. Since joining the firm, he has developed an expertise in health care consulting for large teaching institutions, community hospitals and integrated delivery systems. He has a broad understanding of strategic, financial and operational goals and how those can be implemented in each unique client situation. Mr. Acosta’s areas of expertise and experience include replacement hospital planning, functional and operational planning for ambulatory care and hospital care delivery, facility planning and implementation and strategic planning.
Andrew Bachrodt
Partner
Mr. Bachrodt has over 20 years of experience in health care. His experience covers a broad range of activities, including development and implementation of strategic plans, merger/acquisition/affiliation planning, clinical and ambulatory services business planning, hospital-physician alignment and facilities planning. He has held senior leadership roles at several community health systems with responsibility for strategy, marketing and operations of strategic service lines. His client base includes multi-hospital systems, regional referral and community hospitals and academic medical centers. Mr. Bachrodt works extensively with faith-based health systems at the national and local level.
Jerry Darby
Partner
Mr. Darby brings 16 years of health care experience and more than ten years of consulting experience to his engagements. Since joining Kurt Salmon Associates, he has been involved in multidisciplinary projects, which have included strategic development, operations assessment and facility planning in the tertiary and academic environment as well as the community hospital setting. His experience also encompasses both children’s and adult care. Mr. Darby also has significant expertise in the opening activities for both new hospital developments and renovations and has led numerous complex activation and transition projects for Kurt Salmon.
Jeffrey Hoffman
Senior Partner
Mr. Hoffman has been consulting nationally to major hospitals and health systems for the last 20 years. He advises clients on market competitive hospital and ambulatory strategy, medical staff development and integrative medical staff strategy, business planning for major service lines and ambulatory developments, as well as the financial implications to support a competitive strategy. Mr. Hoffman has worked with many health system boards as they revisit their core missions and strategic thinking about the future of their organizations. He has managed both broad strategic planning engagements and focused feasibility engagements and brings to clients excellent skills in both the technical and process aspects of planning. Mr. Hoffman is also a frequent speaker at national industry conferences.
H. Scot Latimer

Mr. Latimer is a senior partner and leads the Facility Development Practice in Kurt Salmon Associates’ Health Care Group. His career spans 30 years, during which time he has advised health care organizations on strategic facility and capital planning, functional and operational design and planning for the implications of mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Latimer’s clients include academic medical centers, multi-hospital systems, children's hospitals and academic faculties. In 2006, he served as president of the American Institute of Architects’ Academy of Architecture for Health.
Elaine Remmlinger

Mrs. Remmlinger leads Kurt Salmon Associates’ health care information technology practice and is nationally recognized for her expertise in the field. She has directed significant client engagements in information technology strategic planning, marketplace due diligence, vendor selections, contract negotiations and implementation oversight for academic medical centers, community health systems, physician practices, children’s hospitals and cancer centers. She is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and writes extensively for industry publications. Mrs. Remmlinger serves on the CHIME board of trustees.
