Mr. Cohen is a partner in Kurt Salmon Associates’ Strategy and Private Equity Practice. He has more than 20 years of experience in developing and implementing growth initiatives, mergers and acquisitions, corporate strategy and business-unit strategy. He works with a large range of clients, including retailers, private equity groups, manufacturers, distributors and operators. As an industry expert in strategy development and mergers and acquisitions, Mr. Cohen is frequently called upon to contribute to articles in the trade and business press and to speak at industry conferences.
Michael Dart
Senior Partner
Mr. Dart is a senior partner with Kurt Salmon Associates and is the leader of the Private Equity and Strategy Practice. He has extensive project leadership experience in developing investment ideas, conducting multiple due diligence studies, the development and implementation of business strategies and directing client teams in transformation efforts. As a Kurt Salmon partner, Mr. Dart has led projects with seven of the top 10 largest private equity funds. Prior to Kurt Salmon, he was a partner at Bain & Co., working in the San Francisco and Chicago offices. Mr. Dart is one of Consulting magazine’s Top 25 Consultants of 2010 and is the co-author of The New Rules of Retail, published in December 2010.
Brooks Kitchel

Mr. Kitchel is a senior partner with Kurt Salmon Associates. His seventeen years in the retail and consumer products industry have focused on merchandising strategy, organizational transformations, assortment and inventory optimization and system design and implementation. He has managed large, cross-functional engagements covering merchandising, planning, product development and sourcing activities. Mr. Kitchel's expertise covers execution of major change efforts focused on both growth and cost cutting. In 2009, Mr. Kitchel was named one of Consulting magazine's Top 25 Consultants for Client Service.
Madison Riley

Mr. Riley is a senior partner and managing director of North America. In addition to oversight of the business, he focuses on major account business development and project leadership. Mr. Riley’s experience is based in driving client growth in the retail and direct-marketing industries. In addition to many years of experience with Kurt Salmon, he has served as President of the Stride Rite Children’s Group and as President of Stride Rite International Corp., the sales and marketing arm of The Stride Rite Corporation.
Randy Unger
Partner
Mr. Unger is a partner with Kurt Salmon Associates’ Retail and Consumer Products Group. During his career with Kurt Salmon, he has led numerous projects across all areas of the supply chain, including supply chain strategy, productivity improvement, operations improvement, facility design and implementation and distribution systems design and implementation. Prior to his 16 years with Kurt Salmon, Mr. Unger spent five years in the U.S. Navy as a nuclear engineer and Surface Warfare Officer.
